who cares! you MUST MUST MUST take her outside no matter how cold it is! I just got a puppy myself, and I make it the priority for him to be out; especially when he gets up in the am, after he drinks and def after he eats. You must do this or you are going to have one confused dog on your hands!

You can push on the dog’s tonguein its mouth..It makes the dog unable to bite down…It does not harm the dog and limit to doing this when the dog is biting so that he makes the connection with the pushing down on the tongue with biting too hard.

I suggest you start having a leash on your dog each time you take him out to potty. It’s natural for a puppy to get very easily distracted and he will be very distracted outside! he will think it’s play time! and if he isn’t on a leash, he will run around, sniff everything and forget about being out their to toilet. If you keep him on a leash, he is right by you and cannot run off and do things other than go potty. Once he has gone potty on the leash reward him and praise him lots!

I just got a puppie and hes just doing pee n poo all over my palace i dont want him to be outside cus its gettin to cold for him but then he just walks around plays n dont dont nothing i bring here inside n she will do it all around what can i do ???

You can say it in a firm voice, but don’t shout and scare him. Also, most puppies will stop peeing imediately when you pick them up, so you can do that and take him outside to continue

Yes, if you catch your dog in the act just say “No” calmly and take him right outside. That way he’ll learn pee=outside.
If you discover it after it happened just clean it up. Never hit or punish your dog! A simple “No” does it.
Whenever your dog does it outside, praise him afterwards and give him a treat.

no some of them have it but we the mother is healthy and its a reliable place we are getting it from and they are sporty dogs which like challenges not like a poodle that doesnt do all right? thats why they are police dogs because theire active and smart

instead of saying “get busy” to make him go by himself, couldnt u just say, (dogs name) and go to the bathroom? i mean get busy is good but u cud still say that to ur family. i mean unless u name ur dog the same name someone else in ur family has then it wud work right?

im gettin a german shepard pup soon and i need some training advice because i never had a dog before, i picked german shepard because im an athlete and like going for runs and swimming and GS are very energetic and clever dogs, but how do i stop the dog from peeing and pooing in the house :S like if the dog does do it in the house what do i do with the dog :S do i tell it no! and then take it outside or what? thanks
